2001 - Present: Blended and Web-based
Courses via Blackboard and password protected areas of personal web space
offered at Shenandoah University and the College of Graduate and
Professional Studies, University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, VA.
Summer 2003: PT3 Professional Development in Trinidad. The
professional development model developed at West Virginia University was
found to be transferable to the community college system in Trinidad. The
site was designed to introduce this model, to provide resources, and to be
used as an example.
Spring 2002: TE 744:
Instructional Technology Integration. This is an upper level
graduate course in the Technology Education Program at West Virginia
University. TE 744 is an accepted course for inclusion in the Technology
Education master's and Doctoral programs of study. The major focus of TE
744 is the integration of high-end instructional technologies into lesson
plans developed for a variety of disciplines at the K-doctoral level. Course
participants can expect to learn a range of technology-based teaching tools,
understand the underlying learning theory and pedagogy necessary for sound
integration, and develop instructional modules and prototypes that
demonstrate appropriate integration strategies for select ITs.

Fall 2001: TE 750: Web-based Instructional Design (Educational
Leadership Cohort). This course will address the concepts and
applications of web-based instructional design as they direct the effective
integration of Internet activities and resources into a teaching/learning

Spring 2000: Tessellations unit for the integration of art and
technology across the curriculum.
Fall 2000: TE 390-I: Web-based Instructional Design offered for
graduate credit (with Dr. John Wells) through West Virginia University,
Morgantown, WV.
1998, 1997. BSED 380: Desktop Publishing. Online desktop
publishing course offered for undergraduate college credit through Shepherd
College, Shepherdstown, WV, and Shepherd College–South Branch, Petersburg,
WV.
