Who Am I?
I was born in Long Beach, CA and moved to West Virginia in 1994. I have been working with computers for over 18 years with a recent focus on the technological enhancement to aid in the teaching process. I have been married for almost nine years to a wonderful man from Virginia, Matthew. We have one black lab, Rocker. I enjoy travel and baseball and my recent endeavors have combined both; I recently accomplished the long-time goal of visiting all of the Major League Baseball
parks. Professionally, over the last 15 years, I have been a trainer, project coordinator, technical writer, and project analyst. Currently, I am a project analyst on a government contract for Performance Results Corp
. I also teach displaced workers through the Gear Up program at Fairmont State University

Why a Web Portfolio?
The projects and assignments that have been completed in the Technology Education 600 class at West Virginia University
demonstrate the skills that I have learned, and now possess, in the field of Instructional Design of Materials. Although, I consider myself a novice at Web Design, I also consider myself a successful instructor; with the incorporation of technology, I will enhance my teaching designs.
